Three individuals were detained after police discovered a hydroponics laboratory inside a S.W. Miami-Dade County residence.
According to investigators, at around 10:50 p.m. on Jan. 23rd, investigators came close to an automobile that was quit outside 30121 S.W. 147th Court. Investigators say a strong odor of marijuana was coming from inside the vehicle, and also they also saw a number of bags which they thought were loadeded with cannabis.
The car’s driver left the car and made contact with the house owner. Investigators after that got written permission from the property owner to search the residence.
Once inside, investigatives located an open hatch in one of the rooms that provided access to an underground crawl area. There they discovered a completely operational hydroponics laboratory with about 82 real-time cannabis plants at the base of a concrete swimming pool, which was secured by a concrete piece. The marijuana plants were accessible via the crawl space positioned inside the bed room resulting in the swimming pool.
Cops detained Valexy Quintero-Consuegra, 37, Marley Torres-Denis, 27, and Swirl Pelaez-Ramirez, 44.
